Mother's Day

My mom. She scolds me on every (almost all) things i do wrong, she talks for hours of why I should sleep at appropriate hours and why I should drink more water and hoard dozens of water bottles in my room.
I sometimes get really angry at her for all these. But then I sit and think for a while, and recall that all these scolding and lectures she did were all to help me grow, stay healthy, be respectful to others and be a better human being.
I reflect on these when I sit with her, be it for lunch at noon, a cup of tea in the Evening or during us having her favourite ice creams, and i look at her; happy, smiling and enjoying the moment. That smile on her face gives me the determination to work on, to go above and beyond, as for this smile I am willing to move heaven and earth.

So I love her scoldings, her teachings and her necessary tips about life, as they have made me grow as a good person, and a better human being.
